2PM's Lee Jun Ho will be reuniting with "Confession" director Kim Chul Gyu.
Lee Jun Ho is set to appear in the new drama by director Kim Chul Gyu. He will be making a special appearance in the upcoming Netflix original series "Celebrity."
Lee Jun Ho decided to make a cameo appearance because of his loyalty to director Kim Chul Gyu. The two became close after working together in the 2019 drama "Confession."
"Celebrity" will revolve around people who live their life like celebrities such as SNS stars and alike. The drama will showcase their fears, desires, mysteries, and struggles in life. The series will be penned by writer Kim Yi Young ("Splendid Politics").
Director Kim Chul Gyu is known for being the man behind the dramas "Flower Of Evil," "Mother," "Chicago Typewriter," "Hwang Jin Yi," and more.
The series will be led by Park Gyu Young, Lee Chung Ah, Lee Dong Gun, CNBLUE's Kang Min Hyuk, and SECRET's Jeon Hyo Sung.
"Celebrity" is set to premiere in the second half of 2022.
This drama will be the first drama appearance of Lee Jun Ho for 2022. He last starred in the 2021 hit series "The Red Sleeve."
The idol-actor received hundreds of drama proposals after winning the best actor award last year.
Lee Jun Ho has two confirmed upcoming dramas. First is "King the Land" with Girls Generation's Im Yoon Ah. The idol-actor will also lead the upcoming series "Unwritten Law" directed by Choi Jae Hoon.
Lee Jun Ho is known for being part of the dramas "Wok of Love," "Just Between Lovers," "Good Manager," "Memory," and more.
