Hello everyone!
It's me again with a new article, trying to write something better than before. This time I want to write a stalker's Guide to Kwon Soo Hyun and let me tell you the reason why!
Some time ago I started watching Abyss. Unfortunately, it wasn't as interesting as I thought it would be. I was even thinking about dropping it but...!
Kwon Soo Hyun with his acting made me stay and watch this drama. His facial expressions, his voice... and those eyes! I was constantly falling in love with every episode! He made me interested in the character he was playing so much that I just had to watch it.
Soo... that's the reason why I decided to do a little research and write this article. Let's start with the basic information.
Name: Kwon Soo Hyun Korean Name: 권수현 Birth Date: 18.08.1986 Active since: 2011 Agency: HB Entertainment His Instagram Profile: @hsu_hyun His Fancafe: kwonsoohyun His profile on HB Ent.: Kwon Soo Hyun |
He's known not only from his acting career. He's also a model. Let me show you some photos from BNT International.
Handsome, right? ^^
Now, let me tell you about some dramas he has acted in. He usually played supporting roles in well-known dramas but I hope we can see him playing the main role soon too!
1) THE K2 (2016) as a bodyguard
2) Age of Youth 2 (2017) as Hwang Woo Seob (Jong Yeol's friend)
3) The Smile Has Left Your Eyes (2018) as Eom Chorong
Even though we didn't see him a lot in this drama, all the scenes with him were really enjoyable and something about his acting made me remember them till the end of the episodes. He made his character funny and interesting even if it wasn't the main role. And we all know that supporting roles should be as good as the main characters for the drama to be successful.
4) Abyss (2019) as Seo Ji Wook/ Oh Tae Jin
I think he really did his best for this drama and he successfully played his part. I can't really explain how he made me interested without giving any spoilers, but he was a great actor for such a role. I can't imagine anyone doing it better! Personally, I think it was the best character in the whole drama. If you didn't watch it, I honestly recommend it.
Roles In Film
Kwon Soo Hyun made his film debut in 2012, and while he has only appeared in supporting roles so far, he has definitely left an impression on the audience, being a recipient of the Rookie Award (at The 24th Korean Culture and Entertainment Awards 2016 Ceremony, for The Age of Shadows) too. Check out his roles below:
1) Misbehaviour (2016) as the class president
2) Dangerously Excited (2012) as Soo
3) The Age of Shadows (2016) as Sun Gil
Have you seen any of the projects Kwon Soo Hyun is in? If you haven't, you definitely should. If you have, I'm really curious if you liked how he played his role there? Please let me know in the comments! <3
