APINK's Jung Eun Ji, Lee Jung Eun, and Choi Jin Hyuk will be working together in the upcoming romantic comedy K-drama titled She Is Different Day and Night (literal translation).
Media outlet Star News revealed that Jung Eun Ji, Lee Jung Eun, and Choi Jin Hyuk have been selected to lead the upcoming new KBS K-drama.
She Is Different Day and Night will tell the story of a woman who is different in the day and at night. In the day, she is a hard-working youth who's preparing civil service exam and doing part-time work, then mysteriously, she woke up one night as an old lady.
Jung Eun Ji will reportedly play the role of Lee Mi Jin, a job seeker in her 20s. Lee Jung Eun got the offer to play the role of Lim Soon, a middle-aged woman at night that works as a senior intern.
Choi Jin Hyuk will reportedly play the role of Gye Ji Woong, a perfectionist and drug investigation prosecutor.
The upcoming K-drama will be the work of director Lee Hyung Min (Strong Woman Do Bong Soon, Chocolate, and From Now On, Showtime!) and writer Park Ji Ha (Good Casting).
There are no specific details yet on when the K-drama will premiere on KBS.
This will possibly be the second upcoming K-drama of Jung Eun Ji. She will also star in the upcoming series Genie, Earth together with Lee Sang Yeob. Jung Eun Ji is currently active in all the promotions of her K-pop group, APINK.
This will be the fourth upcoming K-drama of Lee Jung Eun as she confirmed her casting. She is also set to join the upcoming K-dramas A Very Lucky Day, Daily Dose of Sunshine, and Alone in the Woods.
Meanwhile, Choi Jin Hyuk is currently starring in the ongoing MBC K-drama Numbers with INFINITE's Kim Myung Soo, Choi Min Soo, Yeonwoo, Kim Yoo Ri, and INFINITE's Lee Sung Yeol.
