Currently Watching: Meet Me @ 1006

Let me just tell you I know that watching a CURRENTLY AIRING TAIWANESE drama is a hard decision. There can be a lot of drama hours and be waiting all week every week just for one episode is not EASY, and the major hiccup in it all being THE SUBS and is it updated regularly!? Or even going to be finished!? (SO UNSTABLE). Honestly, there is no greater torture than knowing the episode is out, you found the link to the raw and you still don’t know what will happen next and don’t even know when you will. So for me, it always seemed like binging a completed one is a safer bet (I got burned too much).

WELL GOOD NEWS

This really good Tw-drama found its way to my list and I thought everyone should know about it. It has two episodes a week and DRAMAFEVER releases two subbed episodes regularly.

So if you wanted to try and watch a currently airing Tw-drama or are just new to Tw-drama all together, then this one is a great choice for you.

Lego and Nikki reunited again (for the third time) in this currently airing drama Meet Me @ 1006.

He’s the childish, smart lawyer who seems cold and materialistic to everyone, but if you get to know him, he’s actually sweet and has high morals to uphold.

She’s the new rookie reporter who just started navigating her new dream job and her life in the new city. She’s still a bit naive, but our girl is a strong judo champion, fast learner and no fool.

It is a really funny fluffy drama with a good murder mystery twist to it. Good for that need for the adorable, cute fluffy romance with a solid plot and unfolding complicated twists and turns.

This drama has a sweet unique take; it sure is fun to learn the rules of that world with them. 

The whole idea is of regrets, changing the past, what you missed and what could’ve happened.

Our main leads find themselves in an unexplained situation where their apartment with everything in it merges every night at exactly 10:06 until 10:52. They try to understand and use the situation and also each other. ;) So basically our leads practically live together - granted, it’s only for less than an hour each day, but still, they get really in each other's space and work together to solve a hugely important murder for them.

Episode 3 spoilers: They find out how they both lived in the same apartment at different times and, also, how connected they really were, so they use that to try and solve the big case that affects both of them. This gave so much of a The Lake House vibe for me, but with a more Asian dramatic upgrade and suspense input so if you liked the movie you will love this.

SYNOPSIS

Zhen Yu Ke is a lawyer. Suave, handsome and successful, he has never lost a case. Until now. When he loses one of his most high-profile cases, Zhen Yu Ke’s career sinks. After losing everything, the lawyer moves into a mysterious, low-budget apartment. There, he meets a new kind of roommate. Jia Le Cheng is a reporter. She lives in the same apartment as Zhen Yu Ke and meets him every day at 10:06 pm. Except they don’t even live in the same realm. The two are meeting through some kind of supernatural portal, and they have no clue what to do. Zhen Yu Ke and Jia Le Cheng soon realize something is very wrong, and the only way to fix it is to work together. To do that, however, they must keep meeting at 10:06.

SO TO SUM UP WHY YOU SHOULD WATCH THIS NOW

• Their chemistry is remarkable, you find yourself waiting for 10:06 and hence their cute time together (they must be enjoying working together since this is their third time already, anyway it's showing)

• The plot is light, hilarious and romantic; it has crime, suspense, slightly controlling but sweet ML, strong but cute FL (judo champion)

• The platonic friendship between the leads and their friends is delightful.
• Acting is great, especially the more the story develops (we get to see the main lead actor playing the same character with different aspects)

• This is a Monday-Tuesday drama; yes, this is true, it’s two episodes a week drama.
• Most important is that DRAMAFEVER picked up this project and it keeps updating it regularly every week. So far subs are sure to be out by Tuesday.

This is a sweet deal that will surely make you enjoy your Monday and Tuesday tired nights, it has romance mixed with crime, suspense, and a good fantasy element all that while not forgetting to give us funny moments and scenes to see the leads' great chemistry.

More than half the drama is already out and the story keeps getting better so make sure to binge those episodes and catch up to this nice ride.

The drama has only a few members here on MDL so I thought of shedding some light on it.
