The new season of "Big Bet" confirmed to premiere next month.
On January 25, Disney+ announced that "Big Bet Season 2" will officially premiere on February 15. The first season premiered on December 21 with 8 episodes. The upcoming new season will also have 8 episodes. Each episode will be released every Wednesday starting on February 15.
"Big Bet" is being led by Choi Min Shik, Son Seok Koo, Lee Dong Hwi, Kim Hong Pa, Lee Hye Young, Heo Sung Tae, Ryu Hyun Kyung, Kim Joo Ryoung, Jo Jae Yoon, and more.
The action crime K-drama is the latest work of director Kang Yoon Sung. This is also his first time directing and writing a K-drama. He is known for creating the movies "The Roundup," "The Outlaws," and "Long Live the King: Mokpo Hero."
"Big Bet Season 2" will continue to tell the story of Cha Mu Sik who has become a legend of a casino in the country Philippines and Oh Seung Hoon, a police officer who will track and catch him.
Cha Mu Sik is the role being played by Choi Min Shik and Oh Seung Hoon is being played by Son Seok Koo.
"Big Bet Season 2" is one of the first Disney+ original K-dramas for 2023. It will be joining the other original K-drama lineup such as "Connect," "May It Please The Court," "Snowdrop," and more.
The two seasons of "Big Bet" will exclusively be available on Disney+. The series is a co-production between South Korea and the USA.
"Big Bet" is the grand comeback of Choi Min Sik to the K-drama scene. He last starred in the 1997 series "Love and Separation." Aside from the two seasons of "Big Bet," Choi Min Sik will also star in the upcoming movie "The Unearthed Grave."
This will be the first K-drama of Son Seok Koo for 2023. After this, the actor will also return to the new season of the Netflix original K-drama "D.P. Season 2." He will also lead the new series "Murder DIEary" with Choi Woo Shik and Lee Hee Joon.
