Choi Hee Seo will be making a special appearance in the upcoming TVING original series "Yonder."
On October 14th, it was announced that Choi Hee Seo will lend her voice to the upcoming melodrama "Yonder." She will be the voice of Seri, an artificial intelligence assistant who is in charge of the daily life of Shin Ha Kyun's character, Kim Jae Hyun.
Choi Hee Seo joined the drama in support of director Lee Joon Ik. The two worked together in the films "Anarchist from Colony" and "Dong Ju: The Portrait of a Poet."
The actress also shared that she and the director have agreed to use a more human voice because they believe that in the future, AI voices will be more natural.
The upcoming series will be the collaboration work of director Lee Joon Ik and scriptwriter Oh Seung Hyun. It will be produced by CJ ENM.
"Yonder" will be about a man who lives in agony and got a mysterious email from his dead wife asking him to be with him in Yonder, an unknown space where they can both meet. The drama will tell more meaning about life, death, and eternal happiness. The series will depict its story from the novel of the same name by Kim Jang Hwan.
The drama will be led by Shin Ha Kyun, Han Ji Min, Jung Jin Young, Lee Jung Eun, Shin Soo Jung, and Cha Soon Bae.
"Yonder" will premiere today. It will exclusively premiere on TVING.
This will be the first drama project of Choi Hee Seo for the year. She last starred in the 2021 series "Now, We Are Breaking Up" with Song Hye Kyo, Jang Ki Yong, Kim Joo Heo, Park Hyo Joo, and Yoon Na Moo.
Choi Hee Seo will also join the upcoming crime thriller movie "Pokro" with Kim Min Ha.
