Do Sang Woo will reportedly join the second part of "Alchemy of Souls."
On August 2nd media outlets shared that Do Sang Woo will be added to the second installment "Alchemy of Souls: Part 2." According to reports, he will play the role of Hwang Min Hyun's character's uncle. It was also reported that the actor had already begun filming for part two of the drama.
"Alchemy of Souls" is currently airing on tvN and Netflix. It was recently revealed that the drama will have a second part. Reports also stated that there will be a change of the female lead in the second season. More characters will also be added to the upcoming second installment of the drama.
"Alchemy of Souls: Part 2" will still be directed by Park Joon Hwa and written by Hong Sisters Hong Jung Eun and Hong Mi Ran. According to the flow of the ongoing story, all the cast will return to the second season. Except for Jung So Min's character who will reportedly be replaced by Go Yoon Jung.
The series is a fantasy romance that showcases the people whose fate has been twisted after facing "hwanhonsool" (the soul of the dead return to the living).
Do Sang Woo will play the role of Seo Yoon Oh, the ambitious man in the Seo family. He is the uncle of Seo Yul, Hwang Min Hyun's character. They came from a prestigious family.
The ongoing drama "Alchemy of Souls" will air a total of 20 episodes. Meanwhile, there's no official information yet on the broadcast of "Alchemy of Souls: Part 2"
If Do Sang Woo confirms his casting, this will be his first confirmed new project for the year. The actor was active in 2021 with two dramas such as "The Red Sleeve" and "The One and Only."
