In a world where human beings almost erased monsters from the world, the young man, Tian Yin (Jing Bo Ran) accidentally gets impregnated with the heir of the demon king. Something bad happened, so he has to escape from his village. Protected by the monster hunter Xiao Lan (Bai Baihe) he delivers the little demon baby. They plan to sell off this little creature for a huge price, but didn't expect to develop feelings for it.
In a very humorous but serious way, the story deals with hatred of strangers and prejudice. They managed perfectly to make the watchers laugh, and still think about what is right or wrong. The monsters are cute, but not too much so that they still can be identified as monsters people fear. Nevertheless, it is a heartwarming story.

This comedy-horror movie is pretty dark in the picture, and in terms of humour. The actors overdo every facet of the acting performance, which support the many slapstick elements very well. While watching one could forget that this movie deals with a serious topic — to lose the love of your life. The romance between the main leads is special so that in the end the watcher starts doubting how he/she wants this movie to end.

A man with a totally normal life suddenly is diagnosed with a terminal disease and get to know he only has a few days left. He is desperate and thinks about the past, when a creature appears and offers him to extend his life for one day if he gives up something important. Starring Satou Takeru in this psychological drama with fantasy elements, that makes the watcher think about what is important to their lives and how everything is connected.
The movie uses beautiful pictures and a very soft soundtrack. In combination with moments of silence, they create a calm, sad and warm atmosphere with a wisp of nostalgia. Because they desaturated the colours, the movie seems to be a little grey and trust me — works out well with the topic.

In this sequel to Along With the Gods: The Two Worlds, the watcher gets to know the background story of the three grim reapers. The grim reaper Gang Rim insists in the wrongful death of a person, so he leads him through the trail. His companions Hae Won Maek and Duk Choon have to fulfil another mission and meet someone who knows the story of their deaths. Why didn't they reincarnate and became grim reapers? And did any of them may have already met in a different life?
If you didn't watch the prequel, the beginning of this movie is quite confusing. The most outstanding aspect of this movie was the cast and acting performances. They transferred emotions through the colour of their voice and facial expressions. The soundtrack was rather supportive than special, but accentuated the scenic close-ups perfectly. The background story gets revealed step by step so that the watcher gets more and more curious, as to what happened to these persons before they died.
