Lee Hye Ri will star in the upcoming movie "Victory."
According to the film industry on October 21st, Lee Hye Ri will be the main lead of the upcoming youth film "Victory" directed by Park Bum Soo. This will be her comeback to the big screen after three years.
"Victory" will tell the story of a girl who relocated from Seoul to Geoje and entered the Geoje High School. She is passionate about dancing and formed a cheerleading team with other 8 members.
The upcoming film is set in 1999 on Geoje Island. The story will focus on the story of Se Hyun who will be played by Lee Hye Ri.
This will be the comeback of Lee Hye Ri to the movie scene since 2019's "My Punch-Drunk Boxer" with Uhm Tae Goo, Kim Hee Won, Choi Jun Young, Shin Yoo Ram, and Lee Seol.
Director Park Bum Soo will helm the upcoming film. This will be his next movie after "Single in Seoul." He is also known for directing the films "Red Carpet" and "Genie."
There are no details yet on who will be the members of the cheerleading team together with Lee Hye Ri.
Lee Hye Ri is currently starring in the drama "May I Help You" with UKISS Lee Jun Young, Song Deok Ho, Han Dong Hee, Tae In Ho, and Lee Kyu Han. This is her first project for the year.
The idol actress is known for being part of the dramas "Moonshine," "My Roommate Is a Gumiho," "Miss Lee," "Two Cops," "Entertainer," "Hyde, Jekyll, Me," "Seonam Girls High School Investigators," "Reply 1988," and more.
