Gong Min Jung will be part of the cast of the upcoming tvN drama "Little Women."
On July 21st it was officially confirmed that Gong Min Jung will be joining the upcoming tvN series "Little Women." Her agency HB Entertainment confirmed the news. She will play the role of Choi Ma Ri, a reporter at YBC News Agency. She will dig into mysterious cases with Nam Ji Hyun's character, Oh In Kyung.
"Little Women" will adapt its story from the novel of the same name by Louisa May Alcott. The series will revolve around three close sisters who grew up in poverty. These sisters will get involved in an incident wherein they will be against the richest family in Korea.
The series will be directed by Kim Hee Won ("Vincenzo" and "The Crowned Clown") and written by Jung Seo Kyung ("Mother " and "The Handmaiden").
The series will be led by Kim Go Eun, Nam Ji Hyun, Park Ji Hoo, Wi Ha Joon, Uhm Ji Won, Uhm Ki Joon, and more.
"Little Women" will air in the second half of 2022. The drama will have a total of 12 episodes.
"Little Women" will be the first drama of Gong Min Jung for 2022. She last starred in the "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha" series wherein viewers liked her character as Shin Min Ah's best friend.
Aside from "Little Women," Gong Min Jung will also join the upcoming SBS drama "One Dollar Lawyer" with Namkoong Min, Kim Ji Eun, Choi Dae Hoon, Lee Deok Hwa, and Park Jin Woo.
Gong Min Jung is also booked for several upcoming films such as "Parallel Observation Starts at the Age of 6," "Just For Laughs!," "Drown," and "Traces."
The actress has starred in several dramas such as "Please Don't Date Him," "Sweet Munchies," "My Holo Love," "Familiar Wife," and more.
