Heo Sung Tae is in talks to lead the upcoming original Coupang Play drama titled "Chronicles of Crime."
On June 27th, media outlet YTN News reported that Heo Sung Tae will also star in the upcoming drama "Chronicles of Crime."It was first reported that Jang Geun Suk would be the main lead of the series.
If Heo Sung Tae confirms his casting, he will play as the antagonist of the drama. Heo Sung Tae got the offer to play the role of a villain who creates rare crimes.
"Chronicles of Crime" will base its story on the real case of Cho Hee Pal. It will tell the story of a detective who's chasing rare criminals.
The drama will be the new work of director Kim Hong Seon ("Voice," "The Guest," "Metamorphosis," and "Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area").
Jang Geun Suk on the other hand will reportedly play as the detective in the drama.
"Chronicles of Crime" is currently in discussion to premiere on the OTT platform Coupang Play.
If Heo Sung Tae confirms his casting, this will be his third upcoming drama. He is also set to star in the dramas "Adamas" and "Casino." For 2022, He Sung Tae is already part of two series such as "Bloody Heart" and the ongoing drama "Insider."
The actor is also booked for several upcoming films such as "Night Trip," "Hunt," and "Boys."
