"I, a Gangster, Became a High Schooler" Scheduled to Premiere Next Year!

Yoon Chan Young, Golden Child's Bong Jae Hyun, and Lee Seo Jin will be leading the upcoming K-drama I, a Gangster, Became a High Schooler.

It was officially announced on September 15th that the upcoming web-novel-based K-drama  I, a Gangster, Became a High Schooler will premiere in the first quarter of 2024.

 I, a Gangster, Became a High Schooler is a fantasy K-drama that revolves around a gangster who died in a car accident while trying to save a 19-year-old high school student trying to end his life. He then wakes up and finds himself in the body of a high school student. The gangster in the high schooler's body then went to school and decided to punish the perpetrator with his skills. He will also build a friendship with a student who suffers from domestic violence. 

The production team of the K-drama shared, "Both the actors and production people are doing their best on the set so we can meet viewers with a drama full of fun and heartwarming scenes. The K-drama will air in the first quarter of next year. Yoon Chan Young will play the role of a timid student and also the 47-year-old gangster trapped in the high school student's body. Bong Jae Hyun will portray the role of a global idol, and actor Lee Seo Jin will reveal a new charm with his solid acting skills." 

They added, "We ask for your interest and anticipation in the great performance and synergy of the three casts."

 I, a Gangster, Became a High Schooler will exclusively premiere on the OTT platform Wavve. It will greet viewers in the first half of 2024.

Yoon Chan Young will give life to the characters named Song Yi Heon and Kim Deuk Pal. Song Yi Heon is a 19-year-old high school student who has chosen to end his life. While trying to commit suicide, he was saved by a gangster named Kim Deuk Pal. 

Lee Seo Jin will portray the role of Kim Deuk Pal. He is a gangster who died in a car accident while saving a high schooler. Eventually, he will realize that he possessed the body of the high schooler and his school life will begin. 

Lastly, Bong Jae Hyun will play the character named Choi Se Kyung. He is a well-known idol all over the world.
