Jeon Do Yeon is in talks to reunite with director Oh Seung Uk for a new movie.
Media outlets reported on February 20 that Jeon Do Yeon will be the main lead of the upcoming movie titled Revolver. This will be her reunion with director Oh Seung Uk who helmed the 2015 film The Shameless.
Jeon Do Yeon's agency Management SOOP shared their side regarding the casting reports. According to them, it is true that Jeon Do Yeon did receive the offer but she is still reviewing it. It is one of the projects that was offered to the top actress and nothing has been confirmed yet.
The actress is currently starring in the K-drama Crash Course in Romance with Jung Kyung Ho, Lee Bong Ryun, Oh Eui Shik, Shin Jae Ha, and Roh Yoon Seo. She is receiving a lot of love from local and international fans for her great portrayal of her character and her chemistry with Jung Kyung Ho.
Aside from this, Jeon Do Yeon is also set to lead the upcoming film Kill Bok Soon with Sol Kyung Gu, Esom, Koo Kyo Hwan, Kim Shi Ah, and Kim Sung Oh. The actress attended the 73rd Berlin International Film Festival to represent the Netflix film.
Jeon Do Yeon is known for starring in the works Lost, The Good Wife, Lovers in Prague, A Sunny Place of the Young, Emergency Declaration, A Man and a Woman, The Housemaid, Secret Sunshine, Untold Scandal, A Promise, The Contact, and more.
The upcoming movie Revolver will be about a former police officer who only has her eyes on one purpose and goal. The role of the former police was offered directly to Jeon Do Yeon.
The upcoming movie will be the latest work of director Oh Seung Uk. Aside from The Shameless, the director is also known for working with the films Christmas In August, Green Fish, Kilimanjaro, and more.
Revolver will reportedly begin filming at the end of the year. There is no official confirmation yet on the release date and the other actors that will join the movie.
