Hwang Jung Min and Yeom Jung Ah's upcoming Netflix action comedy Mission Cross gives a glimpse of its stellar supporting cast.
Mission Cross is the story of a former agent, Kang Moo, living as a househusband while hiding his past from his wife, Mi Sun. Whereas, Mi Sun is an ace detective of the violent crimes unit, who misunderstands her husband's secret. They both get caught up in an unexpected crisis.
In the K-movie, Jeon Hye Jin (Stranger Season 2, Hunt) plays Jang Hee Joo, Kang Moo's former colleague, who gets involved in a series of incidents and ends up carrying out a secret operation with him. Jung Man Shik (Escape from Mogadishu, A Bloody Lucky Day, The Worst of Evil Vagabond) plays Sang Woong, Mi Sun's colleague and team leader of the Gangsu squad. Kim Chan Hyung (The Roundup, Hunt) comes as Jung Rok, a character who plays a pivotal role in solving the case of Kang Mu and Hee Joo. Kim Joo Heon (Castaway Diva, Big Mouth, Juvenile Justice, It's Okay to Not Be Okay, Dr. Romantic Season 2, Kill It) portrays Joong San, Hee Joo's husband and Kang Moo's former colleague who goes missing. The still showing Joong San undergoing an intense interrogation evokes curiosity about the identity of those who kidnapped him and whether Kang Moo and Hee Joo can rescue him. Cha Rae Hyung (The Worst of Evil, The Killing Vote, The Silent Sea, Strangers from Hell, 12.12: The Day) and Lee Ho Chul (Crash, Like Flowers in Sand, Arthdal Chronicles, My Dearest) play Heon Gi and Dong Soo, respectively, of the Gangsu squad who may seem clumsy but are important in the team. Ok Ja Yeon (Gyeongseong Creature, Big Mouth, The Uncanny Counter, Alienoid) plays Seon Woo, Joong San's assistant.
Mission Cross will premiere on August 9 only on Netflix.
