Newtopia tells the story of soldier Lee Jae Yoon (Park Jeong Min) and Young Joo (Kim Ji Soo) as they navigate a zombie-infested Seoul, desperately trying to reunite.
The poster captures the tension as Jae Yoon and Young Joo confront a horde of zombies in the city. The chaotic urban landscape of Seoul, disrupted by the zombie outbreak grabs attention. Amid zombies reaching out and charging at them, Jae Yoon's shocked expression and Young Joo's enigmatic look heighten the suspense. Jae Yoon tightly grips a lighter and spray can, while Young Joo wields a massive bloodstained chainsaw.
The trailer showcases Jae Yoon, Young Joo, and the people around them as they fight against the zombie outbreak.
Contrary to his tense expression, Jae Yoon sweeps through hordes of zombies with a blazing cart, while Young Joo, declaring "I'm super strong," boldly charges through zombies on an electric scooter and wields a chainsaw fearlessly.
Supporting Jae Yoon and Young Joo are a team of dependable allies who play a crucial role in their fight. On Jae Yoon's side, the team includes Private First Class Ra In Ho (Im Sung Jae); Aaron Park (Kim Joon Han), the manager of the hotel where the military unit is stationed; and other armed comrades who face the zombies army head-on.
On Young Joo's side is her surprising and resourceful college senior Jin Wook (Kang Young Seok), Alex (Lee Hak Joo), the brains of the group, and a high school graduate retaking college entrance exams for the third time (Tang Jun Sang).
