"Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se Poong" is confirmed to premiere on August 1.
On June 20th, tvN released the first video teaser of the upcoming Monday-Tuesday drama "Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se Poong." It was also revealed that the series will officially premiere on 1st of August at 10:30 PM KST.
In the video teaser, main leads Kim Min Jae, Kim Hyang Gi, and Kim Sang Kyung were seen trying to open a closed door. When the door opens, the trio gave a wide healing smile. Expectations are high of the performance of these psychiatrists in the Joseon era.
"Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se Poong" is based on a novel of the same name. The drama will revolve around Yoo Se Poong, a great psychiatrist in the Joseon era. The series will also showcase the stories of the patients of the psychiatrists and the people around them.
Other casts of the drama include Ahn Chang Hwan, Yoo Sung Joo, Jung Won Chang, Lee Seo Hwan, Jeon Guk Hyang, Kim Soo An, and Han Chang Min.
The drama will be helmed by director Park Won Gook and written by Lee Bom ("Drama Stage Season 4: Attention Hog").
"Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se Poong" will air its first episode on August 1, Monday, at 10:30 PM. It will exclusively air on tvN.

For the upcoming series, Kim Min Jae will play the lead role named Yoo Se Pong. He is a skillful psychiatrist in the Joseon era. This will be his follow-up drama after the 2021 series "Dali and the Cocky Prince."
Kim Hyang Gi on the other hand will portray as Seo Eun Woo, a widower who also decided to become a psychiatrist. Aside from this series, she will also lead the upcoming drama "Flying Butterflies."
Meanwhile, Kim Sang Kyung will play the role of Kye Ji Han, a doctor from the Sorak village who seems grumpy but actually warmhearted. This is his next drama after the hit series "Racket Boys."
The drama was supposed to air earlier but due to an accident that caused the life of some staff, the filming of the drama was halted. After several circumstances, "Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se Poong" will officially be out this August.
