The Netflix drama The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call dropped its preview.
The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call follows Baek Kang Hyuk (Ju Ji Hoon), a genius surgeon who has performed surgeries even in the most chaotic conflict zones. He takes on the mission of leading the underfunded and sidelined Trauma Team at a university hospital.
The teaser begins with Yang Jae Won pleading to Baek Kang Hyuk (Ju Ji Hoon), "I really can't do this!" as Baek holds Yang while standing on the foothold of the helicopter mid-air. As a man asks, "Dr. Baek, you're not jumping, are you?" Baek smiles saying, "See you later" and jumps off with Yang Jae Won screaming at the top of his throat.
They land on a mountain to save a patient. But they see a gap between the rocks. Yang frantically shouts, "Dr. Baek, you'll die! Please don't!" But Baek Kang Hyuk remains undeterred, risking his life to reach the patient. The scene captures Yang's anguish as he watches Baek's fearless, daredevil stunts. This thrilling dynamic promises a blend of heart-pounding moments and unexpected humor, setting the stage for non-stop entertainment in the K-drama.
As they check the patient's condition Yang Jae Won notices a strange tattoo on Baek's arm, something that feels familiar. Meanwhile, Baek focuses on saving the man by letting out the air in his lungs but he doesn't gain consciousness. Seeing his pupils not responding, Baek diagnoses him with a brain hemorrhage. Baek Kang Hyuk commands Yang Jae Won, "Get ready. I'm opening his skull in the helicopter."
