JYJ's Kim Jae Joong is set to return to the K-drama scene through Bad-Memory Eraser.
On June 25, Kim Jae Joong was officially confirmed to lead the upcoming romantic comedy K-drama Bad-Memory Eraser. It was also confirmed that the upcoming K-drama will premiere on August 2 exclusively on the broadcast channel MBN.
Bad Memory Eraser will reveal the romance between a man whose life had a turnaround because of a memory eraser and a woman who has become his first love.
Directors Kim Na Young and Yoon Ji Hoon will work together to create the upcoming series.
Kim Jae Joong will work alongside other leads Jin Se Yeon, Lee Jong Won, Yang Hye Ji, Lee Ruby, and Jang Eui Soo.
Bad Memory Eraser will be part of MBN's Friday and Saturday K-drama timeslot. The first episode will air on August 2 at 9:40 PM KST.
Kim Jae Joong will portray the role of Lee Goon. He was a promising tennis player but lost his self-esteem after an injury. After encountering a memory eraser, his life had a turnaround. He erased all his memories and was reborn as someone oozing with confidence.
This will be his comeback to the small screen after 7 years. The last time Kim Jae Joong led a K-drama was in 2017 through the series Manhole. Aside from returning to acting, Kim Jae Joong will also celebrate his 20th-anniversary debut with a comeback album.
Jin Se Yeon will portray the role of Kyung Joo Yeon. She is a psychiatrist at the Brain Research Center. After Lee Goon's memory is erased, she will become his fake first love.
Lee Jong Won on the other hand will portray the role of Lee Shin, the world's no.1 tennis player. He is also the younger brother of Lee Goon.
Lastly, Yang Hye Ji will portray the role of Jeon Sae Yan. She is the interpreter of the world star Lee Shin.
