The upcoming KBS K-drama "Run Into You" will no longer be part of the channel's Wednesday and Thursday timeslot.
On January 6th, KBS confirmed that they are temporarily halting their usual Wednesday and Thursday K-drama timeslot. "Run Into You" will be affected and instead, it will now be part of the Monday and Tuesday timeslot. According to the broadcast channel, "Run Into You" will premiere around May after "Brain Works" and "Oasis" concludes.
This is not the first time that the upcoming series "Run Into You" was pushed back. Initially, the drama was supposed to premiere in January but the schedule was also pushed back because the Wednesday-Thursday drama timeslot was suspended.
"Run Into You" will be led by Kim Dong Wook, Jin Ki Joo, Seo Ji Hye, Lee Won Jung, Lee Ji Hyun, and Lee Kyu Hoe.
The upcoming mystery romance series will tell the story of Yoon Hae Joon and Baek Yoon Young who time-traveled back to the year 1987. Yoon Hae Joon wants to find the answer to a serial murder case while Baek Yoon Young wants to prevent her parents from marrying. The two have different goals but in the end, they will realize that their objectives are connected.
Kim Dong Wook will portray the role of Yoon Hae Joon. He began his career as a local news reporter and now he is currently the anchor of a weekend news program.
Jin Ki Joo on the other hand will portray the role of Baek Yoon Young. She dreams of becoming a writer but instead, she currently works at a publishing company to support herself.
"Run Into You" will have a total of 16 episodes and it will premiere both on KBS and the OTT platform, Wavve.
