Kim Hee Won will reportedly be added to the star-studded line-up of an upcoming drama from Disney+.
According to several reports on June 17th, Kim Hee Won will be joining Han Hyo Joo, Jo In Sung, Cha Tae Hyun, Ryu Seung Ryong, Kim Sung Kyun, Lee Jung Ha, and Go Yoon Jung in the upcoming drama "Moving.”
Based on the webtoon of the same name written by Kang Full, the new series will showcase the life of a high school student who keeps a lot of secrets.
"Moving" will be helmed by "Kingdom: Season 2" director, Park In Je and the script will be written by the same writer of the webtoon, screenwriter Kang Full. The upcoming drama will be produced by Studio & New ("Train To Busan" and "Peninsula"). The budget for the production is said to be 50 billion won (44 Million US Dollars).
"Moving" is slated to air in the second half of this year and it will be available both in JTBC and the new OTT platform in Korea, Disney+. The drama will have 20 episodes.
If Kim Hee Won accepts the drama, this will be his return to the small screen since 2019's "Big Issue" with Han Ye Seul, Joo Jin Mo, and more. The actor has been active in movies for the past years. He was included in the cast of "The Divine Move 2: The Wrathful," "Tazza: One-Eyed Jacks," "The Golden Holiday," and more.
Kim Hee Won is set to appear in several upcoming movies such as "Voice," "Not the Lips," "High Five," "Smartphone," and "Silence."
This year, Kim Hee Won also returned to the second season of the variety program "House on Wheels 2" with Sung Dong Il and Im Shi Wan.
