Running Man's Jeon So Min is returning to acting with a new KBS K-drama
After The Judge from Hell, actress Kim Jae Hwa already has a follow-up K-drama.
On October 22, it was officially confirmed that Kim Jae Hwa will be part of the upcoming JTBC K-drama The Tale of Lady Ok. She will work alongside main leads Im Ji Yeon, Choo Young Woo, Yeonwoo, Kim Jae Won, Lee Jae Won, and Sung Dong Il in the upcoming series.
The Tale of Lady Ok will tell the survival story of a woman named Ok Tae Young. She is loved by the people around her but they don't know her secret. Her name, status, and husband are all fake. She will meet Cheon Seung Hwi, the person who is willing to risk his life to protect her.
The upcoming K-drama will be the joint work of director Jin Hyeok (Sisyphus: The Myth and The Legend of the Blue Sea) and writer Park Ji Sook (Uncle and The Spring Day of My Life).
In the series, Kim Jae Hwa will portray the role of Maxim. She is a friendly person who only wishes for Ok Tae Young's happiness. She will also sacrifice for Ok Tae Young if needed.
The Tale of Lady Ok will premiere on November 30 at 10:30 PM KST. It will be part of JTBC's Saturday and Sunday K-drama timeslot.
This will be the second K-drama project of Kim Jae Hwa for 2024. She is currently starring in Judge From Hell which is led by Park Shin Hye, Kim Jae Young, Kim In Kwon, Kim Ah Young, Ha Kyung Min, Lee Joong Ok, and more.
Kim Jae Hwa is known for being part of the K-dramas The King of the Desert, Cleaning Up, Why Her?, Kiss Sixth Sense, Extraordinary You, Good Manager, Uncontrollably Fond, and more.
