Actor Kim Jae Young will possibly meet Park Shin Hye in a new SBS Friday-Saturday K-drama.
On December 15, media outlets reported that Kim Jae Young is considering the offer to star in the upcoming K-drama The Judge from Hell which will begin filming next year.
The upcoming K-drama was first offered to top actress Park Shin Hye and Kim Jae Young was the first reported actor to be her male lead.
Kim Jae Young's side hasn't responded to the casting reports.
Meanwhile, if Kim Jae Young confirms his appearance, this will be his second upcoming K-drama. The actor will also reportedly join the upcoming series I'll Take the Trip for You with Gong Seung Yeon, Yoo Joon Sang, Hong Soo Hyun, Yoo Ji Yeon, and NUEST's Baekho.
Kim Jae Young was last seen as the second lead in the 2022 K-drama Love in Contract. Hopefully, if Kim Jae Young accepts the offer to star in The Judge from Hell, this will be his chance to return to the main lead position.
The actor made his acting debut in 2011. Since then, he has been active in various K-dramas. He is known for being part of the works Reflection of You, 100 Days My Prince, My Secret Romance, The Master of Revenge, Hello Monster, Money, Golden Slumber, No Breathing, and more.
The Judge from Hell will depict the story of the ruthless judge named Kang Bit Na. She distrusts the perpetrator's pretentious reflection but also doesn't feel sympathetic to the victims. Then, she eventually faces a warm-hearted and bubbly detective who always prioritizes the victims' welfare first.
Park Shin Hye got the offer to play the role of the cruel judge Kang Bit Na. Kim Jae Young on the other hand got the offer to star as Han Ha On, a warm and lively detective who always puts the victim first. He will be the one to make Kang Bit Na realize empathy and compassion.
The Judge from Hell will be produced by Studio S and it will be directed by Park Jin Pyo (Brave Citizen, Love Forecast, and Voice of a Murderer).
