Kim Tae Hee's current agency Story J Company released their official statement regarding the tax evasion issue.
The agency shared, "Kim Tae Hee has been faithful in taking care of her taxes over the years. She always complies with the ax authorities' laws."
They continued, "After Kim Tae Hee's contract with her former agency Lua Entertainment, a client advertiser had a delay in payment for the actress' modeling. The delayed payment was then issued to the actress personally. The issue occurred because of this."
Story J Company clarified, "There is nothing to worry about. We also would like to clarify that the actress indeed had to pay additional taxes and it has been faithfully fulfilled already."
