Kwak Shi Yang will no longer be part of the upcoming K-drama "The Real Deal Has Come!"
On December 21st, Drawing Entertainment released an official statement announcing that Kwak Shi Yang will be dropping out of the upcoming KBS weekend K-drama "The Real Deal Has Come!"
According to the agency, Kwak Shi Yang can no longer participate in the upcoming K-drama due to the conflict of schedule with his upcoming movie "Desperate Pursuit” (literal title). They shared that they've coordinated with the production team of the drama and decided to step down after the result of schedule conflicts.
Kwak Shi Yang was supposed to work alongside Baek Jin Hee in the upcoming drama "The Real Deal Has Come!" The series will premiere on KBS and it will narrate the story of a single mother and an unmarried man who does not want to be tied in marriage.
There are no official details yet on who will replace Kwak Shi Yang for the main lead role in the series "The Real Deal Has Come!"
"The Real Deal Has Come!" will air in the first quarter of 2022.
In 2022, Kwak Shi Yang starred in two K-dramas. He was part of "Rookie Cops" and "Café Minamdang." He also became part of the variety program "My Little Old Boy" wherein he showcased his cooking skills and quirky side.
Kwak Shi Yang is known for being part of the K-dramas "Idol: The Coup," "Lovers of the Red Sky," "Alice," "Chicago Typewriter," "Oh My Ghost," "Persevere, Goo Hae Ra," "Glorious Day," and more.
For 2023, Kwak Shi Yang is already filming for the upcoming film "Desperate Pursuit.” He began filming on December 19th. He will work alongside Park Sung Woong, Park Hyo Joo, and more.
