Kwak Sun Young will possibly star in a new drama!
Several media outlets reported on June 22 that Kwak Sun Young will be joining the upcoming JTBC and Disney+ partnership drama "Moving."
The 50 billion won (44 Million US Dollars) budget drama "Moving" will depict the life of a high school student who has a lot of secrets. The story will be based on the webtoon of the same name written by Kang Full. The cast of the drama includes Han Hyo Joo, Jo In Sung, Cha Tae Hyun, Ryu Seung Ryong, Kim Sung Kyun, Kim Hee Won, and more.
"Moving" will be the collaboration work of director Park In Je ("Kingdom: Season 2") and writer Kang Full. The upcoming drama will be produced by Studio & New ("Train To Busan" and "Peninsula").
Kwak Sun Young received the offer to play the role of Hwang Jin Hee. No other details have been revealed about her character.
The upcoming drama will have 20 episodes and it will premiere in the second half of this year. "Moving" will be available both in JTBC and the new OTT platform in Korea, Disney+. It will possibly be the first original Korean drama that will be launched in Disney+.
If Kwak Sun Young accepts the drama "Moving," this will be her third drama for 2021. She is currently starring in the second season of the hit tvN drama "Hospital Playlist 2” as Jo Jung Suk's sister and Jung Kyung Ho's girlfriend. The actress will also join the upcoming JTBC drama "A Wonderful Sight" with Lee Young Ae, Kim Hye Joon, and Kim Hae Sook. She was also part of the dramas such as "Mystic Pop-Up Bar,” "V.I.P.", "Encounter,” and more.
