The upcoming family comedy movie Ghost Police, has unveiled new stills, showcasing the late Kim Soo Mi and Shin Hyun Joon as the mother-and-son duo.
Ghost Police is a family comedy about a police officer who, never having struck it rich, finds himself struck by lightning out of the blue instead. After acquiring a seemingly trivial superpower, he becomes entangled in unforeseen events with his family.
The stills showcase Shin Hyun Joon patrolling with a rookie officer, Kim Soo Mi exuding the aura of a boss at a soup restaurant, and Shin Hyun Joon conversing with a strange man who has been hovering around him since the lightning struck him. A still of students kneeling on the ground piques curiosity about the situation.
Stills also depict Shin Hyun Joon visiting a sauna and a police station after being struck by lightning, where he begins to notice signs of his superpower. A special appearance by Jung Joon Ho as a thug adds to the excitement.
Other notable stills include Shin Hyun Joon being discharged from the hospital and trying to maintain his image, saying, "It wasn't lightning, it was thunder," and another of him visiting Park Dal Doryeong, a man said to have gained divine powers after being struck by lightning.
Ghost Police premieres on January 24.
