Lee Jung Hyun will reportedly join the cast of the upcoming Netflix original series "The Gray."

On July 11th several media outlets reported that Lee Jung Hyun will be added to the cast of "The Gray." It was also stated that this will be her reunion with director Yeon Sang Ho

Lee Jung Hyun's agency Pine Tree Entertainment responded to the casting reports. The agency stated that Lee Jung Hyun is positively considering starring in "The Gray." 

"The Gray" will be the next film of director Yeon Sang Ho, the man behind the films "Train to Busan," "Psychokinesis," and "Peninsula." The drama version will base its story on the popular Japanese animation titled "Parasyte."

The series will revolve around the mysterious parasitic creatures that slaughter humans.

"The Gray" will be led by Koo Kyo Hwan and Jeon So Nee

If Lee Jung Hyun confirms her casting, this will be her next project with director Yeon Sang Ho and Koo Kyo Hwan after "Peninsula."

"The Gray" will reportedly be part of Netflix's upcoming original dramas. 

If Lee Jung Hyun confirms her casting, this will be her comeback to dramas after seven years. She last starred in the 2015 series "The Family Is Coming." 

The singer-actress is set to star in the upcoming movie "The Limit" with Moon Jung Hee, Jin Seo Yun, Park Myung Hoon, Choi Deok Moon, and Oh Min Suk

Lee Jung Hyun started the year with the movie "Decision to Leave" together with Park Hae Il, Park Yong Woo, Go Kyung Pyo, Jung Yi Seo, Yoo Seung Mok, and Jung Ha Dam.

The singer-actress is known for being part of the hit films "The Battleship Island," "The Admiral: Roaring Currents," and more.
