Lee Se Young will reportedly work alongside Japanese actor Sakaguchi Kentaro in a new K-drama.
On July 25th, various media outlets reported that Lee Se Young and Sakaguchi Kentaro will be the main leads of the K-drama version of the novel Things that Come After Love written by Korean writer Gong Ji Young and Japanese writer Tsuji Hitonari which was published in 2005.
Lee Se Young's agency Prain TPC shared their side regarding the casting reports. According to the agency, Things that Come After Love is one of the works that was offered to the actress and she is currently reviewing it. Nothing has been decided yet.
Things that Come After Love will tell the love story between a Korean woman and a Japanese man.
There are no details yet on when and where it will be broadcasted as well as the other actors that will possibly join the two. There is no information yet on where and when they will also film the upcoming K-drama.
Before Lee Se Young joins Things that Come After Love, the Korean actress will first lead the upcoming K-drama The Story of Park's Marriage Contract with Bae In Hyuk, Yoo Sun Ho, Oh Yu Jin, Jin Kyung, and Joo Hyun Young.
Last year, the actress also led the romance K-drama The Law Cafe with Lee Seung Gi.
Meanwhile, Sakaguchi Kentaro recently went to Korea to promote his film The Last 10 Years. He is also set to hold his first-ever fan meeting in Korea in September. Sakaguchi Kentaro is currently starring in the drama Code: Negai no Daisho with Sometani Shota, Matsushita Nao, Hotta Mayu, Tamayama Tetsuji, and Miura Takahiro.
