Lee Seol will continue to appear in the new season of D.P.
According to industry insiders on April 6, Lee Seol will join the upcoming Netflix original K-drama D.P. Season 2.
D.P. Season 2 will continue to showcase the journey of Jun Ho and Ho Yeol, the two soldiers who were tasked to catch the deserters in the military. Through their chasing, they will also know the different stories and face the reality that they don't know about the military.
In the first season of D.P., Lee Seol made a special appearance as the character named Shin Hye Yeon. She is the sister of the deserter named Shin Woo Seok played by Park Jung Woo. She brilliantly portrayed the sadness and shock after realizing about his younger brother's death.
In the upcoming season, Lee Seol will continue to portray her role as Shin Hye Yeon. This time, she had already graduated from university. She is currently working as a reporter.
Lee Seol will work with main leads Jung Hae In, Koo Kyo Hwan, Kim Sung Kyun, Son Seok Koo, Ji Jin Hee, and Kim Ji Hyun.
D.P. Season 2 will be directed by Han Jun Hee and written by Kim Bo Tong. The second season is set to premiere within the year.
This will be the first K-drama of Lee Seol after two years. The actress last appeared in the Coupang Play original K-drama One Ordinary Day led by Kim Soo Hyun, Cha Seung Won, Kim Shin Rok, Kim Hong Pa, and Kim Sung Gyu.
Last year, Lee Seol focused on being part of several movies. She was included in the films Thunderbird and On the Sand House. This year, she will also join the upcoming movie People You Can Trust together with Park Jun Hyuk.
Lee Seol made her acting debut in 2016. She is active in the K-drama and film industries. She is known for being part of the K-dramas Hello, Stranger, Less Than Evil, When the Devil Calls Your Name, Amanza, and more.
