Jeon Hye Jin will reportedly join the star-studded cast of I Am Home.
On November 21, various news outlets shared that Jeon Hye Jin had picked the next K-drama in which she would appear. The actress is said to be added to the main cast of the upcoming Korean remake of the Japanese drama Home Drama.
Jeon Hye Jin's agency HODU&U Entertainment responded to the casting reports. According to the agency, "Jeon Hye Jin did receive the offer and she is positively reviewing it."
In the past few months, Jeon Hye Jin's husband and actor Lee Sun Kyun caused controversy and was investigated for allegedly taking illegal drugs. Because of this issue, many were concerned if it would affect her wife Jeon Hye Jin's future activities. Through this report, it seems like Jeon Hye Jin will continue with her acting career and will possibly appear in the upcoming series.
This year, Jeon Hye Jin starred in the ENA K-drama Not Others with Girls Generation's Choi Soo Young, Ahn Jae Wook, Park Sung Hoon, Kim Hye Eun, and Seo Ye Hwa.
Jeon Hye Jin is also set to star in the upcoming movie Mission Cross with Hwang Jung Min, Yeom Jung Ah, Jung Man Shik, Kim Chan Hyung, and Kim Joo Heon.
I Am Home will revolve around people who are not related and will become a family. The K-drama will depict its story from the 2004 Japanese drama Home Drama which was led by Konno Mahiru, Inoue Mao, Domoto Tsuyoshi, Yusuke Santamaria, Sakai Wakana, and Izumisawa Yuuki.
The Korean remake will be helmed by director Ra Ha Na (Green Mothers' Club and Tinted With You).
I Am Home will be led by Yoo Seung Ho, Na Moon Hee, and Lee Sung Min.
There is no official confirmation yet on the broadcast channel and airing date of I Am Home.
