Lee Sung Kyung is in discussion to work alongside Lee Dong Wook in the upcoming SBS K-drama The Good Man.

On November 15, media outlets shared that Lee SUng Kyung has been picked to be the female lead of the upcoming thriller comedy K-drama The Good Man

Lee Sung Kyung's agency YG Entertainment shared their response to the circulating reports. According to the agency, "Lee Sung Kyun did receive the offer and she is currently reviewing it." 

Lee Dong Wook got the offer to be the male lead and he is also positively reviewing it. Other actors who will reportedly join the K-drama are Ryu Hye Young, Yoo Jae Myung, and Jo Woo Jin.

The Good Man will tell the story of Seok Cheol, the eldest son of a three-generation family of gangsters. It will showcase the journey of Seok Cheol as he faces turbulent events to protect his family, work, and his love. 

The upcoming K-drama will be the collaboration work of director Song Hae Sung (A Better Tomorrow) and writer Kim Woon Kyung (Yoo Na's Street). 

The Good Man will exclusively premiere on SBS.

If Lee Sung Kyung decides to join The Good Man, this will be her second upcoming K-drama. The actress is also expected to lead the new series In Your Brilliant Season with Seo In Guk.

For this year, Lee Sung Kyung became busy with two K-dramas. She returned to the new season of SBS K-drama Dr. Romantic Season 3 and she also starred in her first Disney+ original K-drama Call It Love with Kim Young Kwang, Sung Joon, EXID's Ahn Hee Yeon, Kim Ye Won, and Yeon Je Hyung.

Lee Sung Kyung is known for being part of the popular K-dramas Dr. Romantic Season 2, Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok JooDoctorsCheese in the TrapIt's Okay, That's Love, and more.
