The upcoming Netflix original series "D.P. Season 2" confirmed its main leads.
On May 31st Netflix unveiled the official main cast of the upcoming second season of "D.P." They also revealed the photo of the first script reading for "D.P. Season 2."
Jung Hae In, Koo Kyo Hwan, Kim Sung Kyun, and Son Seok Koo are all confirmed to return to the new season. Ji Jin Hee and Kim Ji Hyun will be the new addition to the cast.
"D.P. Season 2" will continue to narrate the story of Ahn Jun Ho and Han Ho Yul, the duo that catches and chases military deserters. The series is based on the popular webtoon of the same name by Kim Bo Tong. The drama will be helmed once again by director Han Jun Hee and writer Kim Bo Tong.
Jung Hae In will return as the character named Ahn Jun Ho, Koo Kyo Hwan as Han Ho Yul, and the executives Kim Sung Kyun as Seargeant Park Bum Goo, and Son Seok Koo as Captain Im Ji Sup.
Meanwhile, Ji Jin Hee will play the role of Goo Ja Woon, the legal director of the Army headquarters. On the other hand, Kim Ji Hyun will play the role of Seo Eun, the head of the Defense Prosecutors' Office's operation.
There are no official details yet on when will be the premiere of "D.P. Season 2." Just like the prequel, the drama will exclusively be available on Netflix.
Some of the cast shared their insights about the upcoming series. Jung Hae In stated, "I'm glad that I'll be able to join D.P. once again. I'm looking forward to working with amazing actors on set once again. Please look forward to character Ahn Joon Ho."
Koo Kyo Hwan also stated that he's been waiting for this and he's looking forward to working again with everyone.
Son Seok Koo also commented on the upcoming drama. The trending actor shared, "I'm thankful. I began working on this project because of the close relationship I've created with the director. Filming for the series has always been enjoyable. I'm looking forward to seeing all the actors and staff on set soon."
Lastly, Ji Jin Hee also shared his side as the new addition to the drama. The actor stated, "My character Ja Woon is still unfamiliar for me as I have never done it before but I'm also excited about how I will portray him. I will prepare well to create an amazing picture with other casts."
