Personal comments
Related to Valentine's day Oricon decided to make this ranking, we found that the chosen ones are in their 30's and 40's.
Personally, I was surprised when I saw Muro Tsuyoshi, I have seen Muro in several TV shows and I do find him an interesting person and he's very friendly, but, personally, I wouldn't choose him as a potential love candidate. Though him being chosen might be to last year's Dai Renai impact, he had a very interesting character in it.
No surprise for me to find Johnny's within this ranking, though I didn't expect Ohno to be here over the other Arashi members. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Arashi fan, but I think Ohno will get bored easily on dates and also I'm not a huge fishing fan so I wouldn't share that interest with him. I totally agree with having Toma, Aiba and Kame in this ranking, specially Aiba, I think it will be so much fun to be with him on dates. It also helped that he was active last year with Bokou to Shippo to Kagarazuka, that drama was so heartwarming and Aiba was definitely an excellent choice for the character.
Saito Takumi and Takenouchi Yutaka have so much sex appeal and are naturally ranked in this. Aside from them being very handsome, they are also very good actors. I enjoyed Takenouchi's Gibo to Musume no Blues and that's why I would like him to be in the whole drama. But there are also some old dramas where he appeared and should be considered in your lists as well, like Ice World or Nagareboshi. Also, I have to say it was a surprise to see that Takenouchi is 48 years old, he's in very good shape and looking better each year that passes.
I'm so glad that Tanaka Kei is getting the spotlight after so many years of being in the industry. He's been in so many dramas in supporting roles but he's finally getting leading roles.
