Park Bo Gum is officially returning to celebrity life!
On April 29th, it was revealed that Park Bo Gum's first official schedule after his military discharge will be hosting the 58th Baeksang Arts Awards.
Park Bo Gum's agency Blossom Entertainment shared that the actor is currently preparing for his official discharge and will greet the public at the awards show. This will be his first post-military activity of the actor.
The actor enlisted in the military on August 31st 2020. He served in the navy military band. On April 30th the actor will officially be discharged from the military.
The 58th Baeksang Arts Awards ceremony will be held on May 6th at 7:45 PM KST. It will be broadcast live on JTBC, JTBC2, and JTBC4.
Park Bo Gum will be joining Shin Dong Yup and miss A's Bae Suzy as the MCs of the ceremony.
Before Park Bo Gum enlisted in the military, he acted in the 2020 tvN drama "Record of Youth" with Park So Dam, Byeon Woo Seok, Kwon Soo Hyun, Ha Hee Ra, and Park Soo Young. He was also part of the 2021 movie "Seobok" with Gong Yoo, Jo Woo Jin, Jang Young Nam, Park Byung Eun, and Kim Jae Geon.
This will not be the first time that Park Bo Gum and Bae Suzy will be working together. The two are also the main leads of the upcoming film "Wonderland" with Choi Woo Shik, Jung Yu Mi, Tang Wei, and Nina Paw.
Park Bo Gum made his acting debut in 2011. Since then, he has starred in several dramas. But in 2015, the actor finally rose to fame after starring in the hit tvN drama "Reply 1988." Since then, Park Bo Gum has been one of the sought actors of his generation.
