The second teaser for SBS's upcoming Friday-Saturday drama The Judge from Hell has been released.
The Judge from Hell is an action fantasy about a demon, Kang Bit Na (Park Shin Hye), who is an elite judge in her human form. In a hellish reality, she meets the passionate human detective Han Da On (Kim Jae Young) and becomes a true judge by dispensing justice to wrongdoers.
The teaser begins with a scene of Kang Bit Na declaring that she enjoys her job as a criminal court judge because it allows her to deal with many bad people. Without hesitation, she says, "Justice is dead."
At odds with her is Han Da On (Kim Jae Young), a passionate detective. He firmly states, "I believe that if justice is alive, then the law will protect me."
Following this, the screen card reads: "When the human trial ends, the real trial begins." The subsequent scenes hint at the murder of a person who was on trial as a defendant.
As Detective Han Da On struggles to catch the killer, Kang Bit Na says, "Bad adults deserve punishment," and "Why does the truth matter? What's important is that the bad person is gone." This implies that Kang Bit Na prefers to execute criminals in her own way, not going by the rule book.
Then, we see Han Da On in tears, saying, "Who on earth is this law for? Your judgment is secondary victimization."
However, Kang Bit Na remains steadfast, asserting, "My judgments are always accurate. Now, the real trial begins!"
The Judge from Hell will premiere on September 21. The K-drama will be available to stream on Disney+. Watch the teaser here.
