Kim Sae Ron is confirmed to return to the movie scene after two years of hiatus
After two years, Red Velvet's Ye Ri is confirmed to return to the K-drama scene.
SM Entertainment confirmed on November 14 that Ye Ri will be returning to the second season of Bitch X Rich. She will continue to portray her role as Baek Je Na in the series.
Bitch x Rich Season 2 will continue to showcase the story of Baek Je Na, the queen of Cheongdam International High School, and Kim Hye In, a member of Diamond 6 from an underprivileged class.
Ye Ri will join Lee Eun Saem, Lee Jong Hyuk, Yoo Jung Hoo, Jang Sung Yoon, Park Shi Woo, and more to lead the second season.
Bitch x Rich Season 2 will be the collaboration work of director Im Dae Woong (Search and Night Has Come) and writer Kwak Young Min.
The first season had 10 episodes and was broadcast through the streaming platform Wavve.
The upcoming new season will reportedly begin filming this coming December. There are no official reports yet on the premiere date and the broadcast channel or platform of Bitch x Rich Season 2.
This will be Ye Ri's comeback after two years of acting. After concluding the first season of Bitch x Rich, Ye Ri focused on her idol activities. She participated in all Red Velvet schedules.
Ye Ri started her acting career in 2021. She led the web series Blue Birthday with Pentagon's Yang Hong Seok, Lee Sang Jun, Kim Yi Seo, Kim Gyeol Yu, and Park Joo Hyun.
In 2023, she led Bitch x Rich and this K-drama gave her her first acting award. She received the 2023 A-PAN Star Awards Web Drama Female Acting Award. The K-drama also won the 2023 Brand of the Year Award.
This year, Ye Ri also celebrated the 10th anniversary of her K-pop group, Red Velvet.
