Sung Hoon, Jung Yoo Min, and Jin Ji Hee's "Perfect Marriage Revenge" All Set for an October Premiere
The upcoming MBN K-drama Perfect Marriage Revenge is confirmed to premiere in the second half of 2023.
On August 16th, it was officially confirmed that Perfect Marriage Revenge will start airing by October. The main leads of the upcoming K-drama were also officially announced.
Perfect Marriage Revenge will be led by Sung Hoon, Jung Yoo Min, Jin Ji Hee, Kang Shin Hyo, and Lee Min Young.
The upcoming webtoon-based K-drama will be helmed by director Oh Sang Hoon (Cracked Eggs and Noodles and Born to Kill) and writer Lim Seo Ra.
Perfect Marriage Revenge will tell the story of a woman who decided to be part of a contract marriage to avenge her husband and family and a man who will help her and be his husband. It will be based on a web novel of the same name that won the grand prize at Naver's contest in 2019. It was written by Young and Lee Beom Bae and illustrated by Je Ri Bol.
The production team of the K-drama shared, "We have finally completed the perfect lineup from actors and production crew who have also worked before from the hit K-drama Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce).
Perfect Marriage Revenge will exclusively premiere on the MBN channel this October.
Sung Hoon will play the role of Seo Do Guk. He is the grandson of Taeja Group, a leading domestic conglomerate. He is also the head of an interior platform company.
Jung Yoo Min will portray the role of Han Yi Joo. She is the adopted daughter of another conglomerate, Hanul Financial Group.
Kang Shin Yo will give life to the character named Seo Jung Wook. He is the vice president of Prince Construction. He uses the sympathy of his father so he can be the company's successor.
Ji Jin Hee will play the role of Han Yu Ra. She is a social media personality and also the chief gallerist at the Han Gallery. She will portray a character that wants to be the center of everything.
Lastly, Lee Min Young will play the role of Lee Jung Hye. She is the executive of Hanul Financial Group and also the head of the Han Gallery.
