The upcoming tvN drama "Little Women" will officially premiere soon!
On July 28th tvN released the first poster of the drama "Little Women" featuring main leads Kim Go Eun, Nam Ji Hyun, and Park Ji Hoo. In the poster, it was also revealed that the series will begin airing this coming September.
"Little Women" will be helmed by director Kim Hee Won ("Vincenzo" and "The Crowned Clown"). The script will be penned by Jung Seo Kyung ("Mother " and "The Handmaiden").
The upcoming series will depict the journey of three poor sisters who will be against the richest and most influential family in the nation after being caught up in an incident. The story will be based on a novel of the same name by Louisa May Alcott.
Aside from the three women, Wi Ha Joon, Uhm Ji Won, Uhm Ki Joon, Kang Hoon, Kim Mi Sook, and Gong Min Jung will be part of the series.
The production team shared, "Please anticipate the journey of the three sisters who faced unimaginable circumstances as they move forward. Kim Go Eun, Nam Ji Hyun, and Park Ji Hoo, who transformed into becoming sisters, will show their perfect synergy."
"Little Women" will be available both on tvN and Netflix. The drama will have 12 episodes and the series will premiere in September.
In the poster revealed, the steps and shadows of the three sisters, Oh In Joo, Oh In Kyung, and Oh In Hye were seen. The poster depicts the three moving toward an unknown bright place.
The first person to lead the walk is Oh In Joo, played by Kim Go Eun. She is seen wearing a large backpack and high heels. Second on the line is Oh In Hye, portrayed by Park Ji Hoo. She is the youngest out of the three and she is seen in a school uniform holding a canvas. Last on the walk is Oh In Kyung, the character of Nam Ji Hyun. She has a straight posture that seemingly signifies that she can protect the two sisters. The huge shadow that is seen in the poster adds more curiosity to how it is connected to the story of the drama.
