Jeon Hye Jin, Girls Generation's Choi Soo Young, Park Sung Hoon, and Ahn Jae Wook are all confirmed to star in the new K-drama Strangers.
On March 9, the official main cast lineup of Strangers has been confirmed. They will be working with director Lee Min Woo (Cinderella and the Four Knights and God's Quiz Season 4) and screenwriter Min Seon Ae. The upcoming K-drama will be produced by KT Studio Genie, Arc Media, and Barampichers.
Strangers will base its story on the popular Kakao webtoon of the same name written and illustrated by Jeong Young Ryong. It will showcase the story of a mother without countermeasures and a cool daughter who lives together.
The upcoming K-drama Strangers will premiere in the second half of 2023. There are no specific details yet on where the K-drama will be broadcasted.
Jeon Hye Jin will portray the role of Eun Mi. She is a girl crush physical therapist and also a single mother to a 29-year-old daughter. Choi Soo Young will give life to the character named Jin Hee. She is a 29-year-old patrol team leader at a local police station. The two will reveal a unique mother-and-daughter relationship that has never been seen before. Many are already anticipating the chemistry between these two brilliant actresses.
Park Sung Hoon on the other hand will play the role of Jae Won. He is the director of the Namchon Police station. He will work closely with Jin Hee. Meanwhile, Ahn Jae Wook will play the role of Jin Hong, an otolaryngologist who will suddenly appear in Eun Mi's life.
Park Sung Hoon and Ahn Jae Wook's characters will shake and give the excitement of romance to the story of the mother and daughter.
