Upcoming tvN drama "Eve" postpones its premiere by a week!

tvN drama "Eve" will premiere in June instead of May 25th as originally planned.

On May 20th, it was revealed that the upcoming drama "Eve" will delay its broadcast premiere by a week. Instead of the original May 25th premier, it will be moved to June 1st. The reason for the delay is that the production team decided to enhance the quality of the drama and needed more time to do so. 

It was also revealed that main lead Seo Yea Ji won't be able to attend the upcoming press conference of "Eve" due to schedule conflicts. As the premiere date was pushed back, the press conference date was also changed. 

"Eve" will be about a 2 trillion won (approximately $1.7 billion US dollars) divorce case that shocked the country. It will reveal the story behind the case as well as the story of a woman who seeks revenge on the richest people of Korea. The series will focus on Lee Ra El, the center of the divorce case. 

The upcoming series will be directed by Park Bong Sub ("The Uncanny Counter") and writer Yoon Young Mi ("Birth of a Beauty" and "One Well-Raised Daughter").  It will be produced by Studio Dragon and C-JES Entertainment. 

The cast of the drama includes Seo Yea Ji, Lee Sang Yeob, Park Byung Eun, Yoo Sun, So Hee Jung, Son So Mang, and more. 

"Eve" will replace the timeslot of the recently ended tvN drama "The Killer's Shopping List."

Seo Yea Ji will play the role of Lee Ra El, who is at the center of the divorce case. She comes from a family with a good background, a genius father, and a beautiful mother. But after her father's shocking death, Lee Ra El will change into a woman of fatal charms. 

Lee Sang Yeob will play the role of Seo Eun Pyung, a human rights lawyer. After meeting Lee Ra El, she will do anything and give up anything for love. 

Park Byung Eun will play the role of Kang Yoon Gyeom, the CEO of LY Group, and also one of the reasons why Lee Ra El's family was destroyed.

Yoo Sun will play the role of Han So Ra, the wife of  Kang Yoon Gyeom.
