Yeom Jung Ah will possibly return to K-dramas with the new work of Mask Girl creators.
On August 24th, various media outlets revealed that Yeom Jung Ah will be the main character of the upcoming K-drama titled The Great Ok Sook. The series will be based on the Naver webtoon of the same name.
Yeom Jung Ah's agency responded to the casting reports through the media outlet News1. According to them, "The Great Ok Sook is one of the projects that was offered to Yeom Jung Ah. She is currently reviewing and discussing her possible next work. Nothing has been decided yet."
The Great Ok Sook will revolve around housewives who throw bodies in the river to protect their expensive homes with the Han River view. It will be based on the webtoon of the same name written by Maemi and illustrated by Hee Se. The duo also created the hit webtoon Mask Girl.
There are no official details yet on the broadcast date and channel where the K-drama will be released.
In 2023, Yeom Jung Ah starred in the hit movie Smugglers with Kim Hye Soo, Zo In Sung, Park Jung Min, Kim Jong Soo, and Go Min Si.
Yeom Jung Ah was last seen in K-dramas through the series Cleaning Up where she worked alongside Jeon So Min, Kim Jae Hwa, Lee Moo Saeng, Na In Woo, and Jang Shin Young.
