skin care, I love bb-creams. And the more I watch, the more I want to get all of those beauty treatments they show in dramas.

Walking on a crowded street - bunch of europeans and I notice a person I think to myslef "Asian!" of course that my friends usually don't believe me so we have to make sure that my radar's working-incounspicuously looking at the person closer-and I'm right. It's getting kinda creepy..

I have that too, I can spot an Asian in a crowded room even if they are hiding in the corner.

ooooh me too! Thanks to dramas I discovered GOOD bb-creams, not those crappy European imitations. Thank you k-dramas, I feel so pretty now :P
i forget which company but some american company is doing bb-cream now and i'm not convinced. i'm all no, that it not bb-cream, that is foundation in a lotion tube. not the same thing.

Same with me.... especially if the person is a Korean.... hehehe

I always renact the catchy phrases.....aigoo, omo, jinjja.... are now everyday words for me

Haha. I'm the same way though I can also (usually) tell if the person is Korean, Chinese, or Japanese.
the thing about watching Asian Drama beside knowing new life different from mine,, i do like the way they treat each other with respect name of older or younger male of female,,, the love they have for there history and the way they represent it to us so we can like too... that what i like about the Asian "Korean " people and i keep watch drama to see that... the funny is i can tell between Korean, Japanese, Chinese, when they talk :)

That's usually the second question I ask myself - I'm so accustomed to different Asian faces due to drama and Asian music that I can usually differ Koreans, Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese with no problem whatsoever. And it really annoys me when I show my friends e.g. some k-pop videos and they think the singers are Chinese people and say that all of them look the same. I know that this is how the brain works, stereotyping data that it considers irrelevant, but still... Asians faces are as varied as those of any other race! (not to mention that we all have mixed genes anyway nowadays)- maybe it's just my academic deviation (anthropology) but that is really annoying.
my boyfriend suffers most from my mannerisms developed my dramas xD I try not to do them around other people or they think I'm crazy. If he does something silly I'll always give him a playful hit. He really hates it but I do it without realizing it :P I also often use Japanese phrases with him. Like he'll say something to me and I'll instinctively reply in Japanese with a cliche phrase from a drama e.g Eh?, baka ja nai yo!. Luckily he's good at Japanese so he knows what I'm saying. I also buy us lots of couple items like phone charms :P Also the other day I was having dinner at his house, his mum had cooked noodles. He then gave me a fork to eat with and I just looked at him like "wtf?" and the saddest thing is I actually tried to eat with the fork and couldn't!! >.< I've been eating asian food with chopsticks for too long to remember how to use a fork with noodles. Shame on me lol

hahah me too! and i always mollester everyone around me, look look :D xD and i am so happy, and then i start speaking korean or japanese, depends on my mood xD
It's mostly about the language: I never say "Hey" anymore, I say "Yaaa" I never say "No" anymore, I say "Iae" and since it sounds like "yeah" so everyone thinks that I said yes therefore I had to change it to "Ande" The other day I said "Tadaima", my mother said "there's no such food as Tadaima" but fortunately, my brother knew Japanese so he didn't left me hanging and said "Okairi". I said this before in "the awkward moment" thread but I will repeat it; I was eating in my grandparents house, I said "Itadakimasu", my granny replied "Are you cursing the food in another language? Speak English so I can understand!"
I do peace signs a lot. Maybe too much... It's become a habit.
i have began to really want a table that i can sit on the ground, and eat my roman noodles while using chopsticks (i did that today, minus the table) and i have began to sleep on the floor. the last one is a result of it is simply more comfortable to lay on the ground to watch than in a bed and watch never ending drama and by the time i am finally going to go to sleep i am too tired to crawl into bed.
I keep going to speak english but what comes in my head instead of english korean so i always end up having to think before i say because I'll end up spitting out korean instead of english xD
I did not really think of that but after I've read what you guys wrote: I think it applies for me too. Hilarious, anyway !!! :)
