Japanese dramas vs Korean dramas

jdrama and kdrama both exhibit/ manifest their country so its not surprising that kdrama seems more likable than jdrama. kdrama seems more open and imaginary while jdrama are mostly serious and real. there are exceptions but it is what i observed. after watching a lot of jdrama and kdrama id say there are more likable kdrama than jdrama but i'd say those few jdrama are really good that they stand out

korean drama usually looks more well directed while japanese live action sometime has unnatural scene (like the over-expressive character which makes it annoying and unrealistic), some of japanese live action I watched also looked like a low budget show or made half-heartedly. I could say this because I just watched romance dorama and most of them are shoujo manga adaptation, that's probably why the expressions were a bit weird just like in the manga. But I found some Japanese movie that was great and worth watching, so my opinion doesn't apply to all japanese live action, I suppose.

I like both but mainly k-drama because I feel that they are more high quality with produce, they have more beautiful cinematography and for me actors are handsome. Also k-dramas rarely have scenes that feel like "should this be on this drama" or take unnatural turn in the story while in my experience, j-dramas do that quite often. And personally I feel that japanese are a little baby faced and actors often overact a bit so sometimes it's hard to follow a serious drama because of that. But with asian movies I don't know why but I tend to like japanese movies more than korean lmao. Anyway, I like both genres because both have something to offer the other doesn't have.

Me too, I prefer korean dramas than japanese dramas...its not that J-drama are bad its just okay, well maybe its not my tastw, but ive seen J-dramas which are better than korean but only for a limited number. Korean dramas i can feel the acting is really good. J-dramas well sometimes i always give a big facepalm on them ...J drama< Taiwanese drama< K drama.... KOREAN DRAMA ALL THE WAY
