I use French (because it's most simple for me) ~ My native language is French and I am quite zero in other languages :p
Sometimes Spanish, but usually English because it's faster. lol
If I watch Kdramas I don't need subs because I can understand Korean... But sometimes I have Eng subs so I can be learning English whilst watching a Drama If I watch something that's not Korean or English so like: Dramas/movies/variety.shows Then I have subs in Korean or English
English ... my mother tongue is German, but there aren't many German Subs out there and I honestly don't care. My English is good enough to understand everything so it's ok for me :)
i also use spanish subtitles
I rarely usw subtitles for anything I watch in Japanese unless I download something that is hardsubbed and no raws are available. Occasionally I'll come across streaming videos that have Japanese subtitles. For the few Korean dramas I watch I use English subs, but if Japanese subs are available I'll use those.
I would like to watch in my mother tongue, but unfortunately these subs are not available for dramas. Only some of the more famous films have them. But I don't mind that I have to watch them in English. I'm just immensely grateful that there are people who want to make subs for me... and sometimes even doing in within 24 hours! It is a lot of work to sub and without these fansubs I would never have been able to enjoy so much animes and dramas.
Most of the time I watch drama with English subtitles , but sometimes I like to watch dramas with French subtitles ( my mother tongue ) . So I don't really care to watch drama in Vosta because I can improve my English , moreover I understand English pretty well so ...
I watch drama with English subtitles most of the time, but sometimes I use French. (Non of these is my native language, but as far as I know, subs in my language aren't available. Not on streaming websites anyway!) English is easier for me, but sometimes I can't find what I'm looking for in English... and sometimes I remember French is the language I should be studying so I chose it because it makes me feel like I'm almost doing something useful when I'm watching j-drama. :)
Like most ppl I use English subs. If I don't have a diffrent choice I also use German or Turkish subs. Just what I get.
I use english subs but will watch Japanese and Korean dramas RAW if the wait is too long, can understand about 80% of both. However, the Chinese I have to use subs but they seem to take longer than the Kdramas, ugh :( As a side note, have occasionally used French and Spanish subs as well if I couldn't find English.
I mainly watch Japanese dramas RAW, but if I can't find the RAW I'll settle for English subs. I haven't watched any Korean or Chinese dramas, but I would use English subs for those as I don't know Korean and my Chinese is subpar at best lol
Most of the time I use english subtitles but sometimes, when I not in the mood to read english I use french subtitles.
English and Bulgarian... If I can find the drama in Bulgarian, than that's it .. :D
I have only found Dutch subtitles a few times, so I always watch everything in English. I've seen some episodes of Heartstrings with Dutch subtitles, it cracked me up. I have watched some episodes of KPOP utlimate audition with German subtitles for fun too. (and because I had a German exam coming) If I really need to watch something, I'll even go without subtitles if needed, that's just for Japanese though, I'm not fluent enough in the other languages...
