I watch mainly with English subtitles. Sometimes I may watch with Bulgarian subtitles, but only if the whole dramas is translated (I don't like waiting). If there are no subtitles, I can watch J-dramas raw and understand 60-70% (I've never studied japanese - it's all from animes and dramas).
Always English, right now I can't even watch a drama with French subs it's my mother tongue but I just can't xD
English. But if there is a Dutch one, than I would prefer that!
I mainly watch dramas with English subtitles (to improve my skills in this language :D). But sometimes, if it's available, I turn on the Polish ones.
I watch with english subtitles!
My mother tongue are Arabic and French, so I watch them in french, and in arabic but also in English sub or even in Spanish sub (it happened one time xD)
I usually use English for Korean dramas, unless im impatient, then i use Chinese subs. With Jap dramas, i use Japanese subtitles or watch it raw X3 helps me improve my Jap, i understand most of it except i lack in vocabulary (especially in medical dramas...)
It's not much a choice since I can only speak English... No one does subs in my native language, and tbh, I wouldn't use them even if available. Too... awkward.
Always English... much easier to understand :D
I normally don't watch airing dramas even if the English subs get released faster than the Spanish subs. I use Spanish subs mostly cos of my mother since she watches dramas with me, and Spanish is our native language. But sometimes I cringe at the translations because I feel that some of the translators just copy and paste things on Google translate and just sub without reading and then it turns out that the sentence is a total mess (when it comes to word order) and also some of the English words get translated into something else and have another meaning, so I just have to guess what the charas are trying to say. There's this fansub at my country that does a REALLY good job when it comes to subbing in Spanish but they take a little time, but the quality is great, but sometimes the wait kills so.. .__. (I still haven't watched Heartstrings due to a subtitle problem, the subs didn't make sense at all, I really wanted to shout at the translator for being so UGH, I would translate but I don't have enough on my hands to sadly, translate from English to my native language I mean)
Always with English subtitles and sometimes without it.
English subtitles! :)
Always English. But Greek is my mother language.
I always use the English language for subtitles
I used to watch dramas with french sutiles but now that I read (A LOT!) of books in english, I prefer english subtiles. They're so much easier to find and they're easier to understand I guess since they're not translated twice (from japanese/korean to english and then from english to french).
