dramafever vid quality?

i was wondering if anyone else is having trouble with the video quality at drama fever. i usually watch DF via hulu, but i do still occasionally watch via the website and have for several years now. i dont pay for the premium so while it was never high def. i've never had an issue with bad quality before. today i tried to watch ep. 1 of unemployed romance and the quality was AWFUL. i would have done better to track it down at an illegal streaming site. it's not my system and it's not my connection i noticed lately they have been pushing the premium HARD... thinking maybe they've made the standard worse on purpose.... anyone else?

I don't watch anything on dramafever anymore cause they've made only the first 5 drama episodes free to watch. You need premium to go any further. However. when I started watching The Master's Sun last month I did watch a few episodes over there and I didn't notice any thing different about the vid quaility. Maybe its your connection? Though I wouldn't be surprised if they were indeed making the standard quality worse, like you said, they're really pushing the premium thing...

i doubt it's my connection. i have the fastest internet you can buy in america and nothing else was running wonky, just dramafever. i dont pay for the premiuim and i can watch a whole drama, even currently airing ones past ep 5. i live in the US, do you live somewhere else? maybe it's different from country to country. they are going to lose alot of people if that's what's up. they arent the fastest with subs and new episodes and the dont have the variety, the only thing they have going for them is that they are a legal site and in the past the quality of their free content was better than most illegal sites.

It happens to me too from time to time. Usually with dramas that are more than 3 years old, but sometimes the current dramas too. It's either due to the amount of traffic at the time you are watching, a problem with the flash player, or in some cases DF just uploaded it with poor quality.

That happened to me all the time when I was watching Heartless City and I do know it has nothing to do with my internet connection. Also i agree about the Unemployed Romance vid quality. It was really bad.

I don't live in the US so Dramafever is not an option for me - but I recently found out some Taiwanese dramas there are available here in Europe and noticed that the video quality was simply awful. And I tried with Miss Rose, which is a fairly recent drama. I guess if you don't have a Premium account, the quality of the vids will stay poor, regardless of your internet connection etc. Maybe it's to encourage people to upgrade and buy an account.
