Types of Dramas 


Asadora - a morning jdorama by NHK, a Japanese channel. It's episode length is fifteen minutes with one episode airing everyday. About two to three Asadoras are aired every year. Asadoras have a female protagonist and follows her life journey.
BL-Boy love can also refer to dramas that depict life experiences in a business setting
C- China
GL-Girl love (rare)
HK- Hong Kong (rare)
J- Japan
K- South Korea
Lakorn- Type of Thai drama ask Queen of lakorns
P- Philippines
Sageuk-Korean historical drama
Taiga - a Japanese historical drama (actually it is the name of the name of the slot but on MDL it is synonymous with a japanese historical drama, an other name for japanese historical dramas is Jidaigeki)

Tokusatsu - A term for live action film or television drama that makes heavy use of practical special effects. basic examples are Super Sentai, Kamen riders and the sorts.

NSFB - Not Safe For Brownie, a popular user on MDL who likes to avoid triggers so if you dont like triggers avoid movies and dramas with this mark

OTP - One True Pairing

OST- Original Soundtrack (It also means cheese in Swedish but that is NDR)

Delulu is short for "delusional," https://slangit.com/meaning/delulu

Dramaland: The world of dramas, anything related to dramas, actors, premiers, news about them, gossip, etc., usually refers to a specific countries' dramas, e.g "What's new in Chinese Dramaland?"

Fujoshi/Fudanshi - Girl/Guy that is REALLY into BL.

Oppa- @Bye, Lee Min Ho and the korean word for older brother or sweethaert commnly used for male actors and Idols

Pinoy: It means Filipino, but only used by Filipinos themselves to reference to themselves or their culture (any Filipino out there correct me if I got this wrong!)

Shipping, initially derived from the word relationship, is the desire by fans for two or more people, either real-life people or fictional characters (in film, literature, television, etc.) to be in a romantic relationship. (Wikipedia)

Simp:  an Internet slang term describing someone who shows excessive sympathy and attention toward another person, typically someone who does not reciprocate the same feelings, in order to win their affection. This is usually done in pursuit of a sexual relationship.
