I agree, I hated the original b/c it was so dissimilar from the original manga. It was not a real comedy, it was slice of life with comedic moments.

so i watched the first episode. Except for some similarities to the original, this drama is quite different. Its more realistic and not as silly. I think they were smart to do it that way to differentiate themselves. I like the new Mizuki. Shes a good actress. I think I have to watch more eps before I get attached to the characters though...Still not bad for a first ep.

I liked the original japanese version, haha, it drifted off from the manga but I found it really funny, still. I wanted a Hana Kimi anime, too. That's how I found out about the Taiwan, then the Japanese drama versions of it (which got me into watching dramas - Hana Kimi Japan was the first drama I finished). I was looking to see if they'd made a Hana-Kimi anime and I found the dramas instead. If this remake is more like the manga I might like it if I watch it, but I'll still love the orignal japanese version.

Those figures are awful for a show that has a 9pm time slot and the benefit of a highly popular first series.

That is pretty bad. But I can see how the ratings would drop, considering even a lot of us can't make it through the 1st episode. If the ratings continue to drop it doesn't sound like it's going to be worth watching...

Same! Haha. Even if it was far off from the manga, it was the first drama I watched and I loved it :D

Third episode is up. I think most people are hating this show and the few that like it, are fangirls/fanboys of the actors? Or am i wrong?

Anyway...it is true that it will be a korean remake? I didn't hear something like that...:-?

They were supposed to make one for this summer, but there hasn't been any updates since they announced it. So who knows if they will actually make a Korean version? It'd be nice if they did, though.
