Meteor Garden is a prime example, it's one of my favourites but a lot of people are put off by their attire. At least my best friend couldn't bring herself to watch it or rather take it seriously due to their out dated clothing. I just found it funny as opposed to it actually bothering me and at first I didn't even take any notice of what they were wearing or it having become antiquated even. I always miss these things :P.
I know what you mean...I also loved MG despite their look and so.
I feel that the "old" dramas are in ways better than the "new" ones...they center more on the story itself and bring more feelings to it.I can't lie...I loke the actual ones too but sometimes they piss me of with all the music and clothes because it oftens happens that the story is overcome by things which shouldn't be that important!
Some of my favorite "old" dramas are:
1. 100 Days with Mr. Arrogant(2004)
2. 200 Pounds Beauty(2006)
3. Goong(2006)
4. It started with a kiss(2005)
5. Gokusen(2002)
6. Devil beside you(2005)
7. Full House(2004)
8. Hana yori dango(2005)
9. Kimi wa Petto(2003)
10.Meteor Garden(2001)
11.MARS(2004)
I think i should stop)...Anyway in my opinion the new dramas/movies should learn some things from the "old" ones
Sorry for the one before...i somehow delete the owner:D
