Interesting, but I'm not sure yet which direction this drama is headed.

:D Discussion threads suddenly being created by Skye.....wonder why.
ACK! I was debating whether or not I should start a thread for this drama---glad you beat me to it, Skye!

This one was a pleasant surprise for me. Granted, I've only seen the first episode so far, but I really fell for the main character as well as the overall tone. Well, at least the tone that was established within that one episode. For me, it usually takes two episodes for a drama to grab my interest, at most four. That's usually the number of episodes it takes for the average drama to fully lay down the foundation of its plot. Romance Town, however, grabbed me almost immediately, and did an excellent job in my opinion of giving us a nice sketch of the characters and their relationships to each other all within the first 65 minutes.

This might all change after I've seen the second episode (which I'm just about to start), so I'm trying to restrain myself from gushing all over this post...

That certainly gave me an interesting mental picture.

HAHAHAHA! That did come out a bit weird. But I didn't mean "gushing" as in "The geyser is gushing water", but "gushing" as in "She can't stop gushing over her new baby." Wah, English is such a frustrating language, even for native speakers! Or at least this supposedly native speaker. *hangs head in shame*
Haha, you don't have to explain. I got the idea, but it indeed was an interesting choice of words. I really like reading your posts, they're very insightful. Often reading them I am nodding my head in agreement at every other word. I'm not that great at expressing myself.
hmm after reading BaW i might start this.. but there are so many i am alrady watching.. i cant even finish the snow queen :( ...

After watching the second episode, I'm even more enthusiastic about recommending this show! I just hope the show doesn't end up falling apart halfway through---I don't have much of an appetite when it comes to eating my words.
I'm watching this... And I don't know if i like this... Because this doesn't give me the usual drama-feeling... But I'll continue watching... This'll be interesting. And I'm in love with ... that guy :D
Anyone know what's going on with the one Ajusshi that lives with his wife and his mistress. And the two ladies get along. I have no idea what's going on there and I find it very weird. Anyone else pay attention to that?

I'm talking about the Ajusshi who gave the exact same pearl ring, except different sizes, to the three women in the house.

I'm really curious about that trio as well. It really hasn't been explained explicitly in the show yet; it was kind of presented as a given from the get-go. Hopefully the reason will come to light in later episodes---I'm sure there's an interesting back story in there!
Romance Town. wow a completely complicated life they live their life, why they're being rich & mess up, what a poor ahjumma. Aren't they afraid that ahjumoni will resign after being treated like that ?
Nanny + housekeeper + lottery winner = Daebak !!! + young master in love with her kekeke
I'm waiting for upcoming episodes will be funny ones hahaha :D
Wow ep.5 coz of make up & different hairstyle & pretty dress make everyone can't recognize. The nanny housekeeper is living 2 different lives. Jaemi so!
|1. as a nanny with bangs & short hair. |2. as a single rich girl with a long hair. ===> nobody can recognize her.
Hahaha same as while i'm at hometown (boyish & sloppy), different when i'm at uptown girl (make up, dress up & 5 inches high heel), even my old school friends doubt whether to greet me or not (they might think they would greet the wrong person). :D
p.s: Jeong Kyeo Woon (young master) shoe size 305 (guessing), Kang Ji Hwan (according Lie to Me (drama)) shoe size 275

I can't wait to watch episode 5, but the shoe size thing could be because of the obvious height difference between the two. Size of feet is proportional to height......mostly.

I saw Jeong Kyeo Woon's feet size, coz i have 5 male fam (Dad, 3 bros, 1 nephew) i knew their size feet by looking at their feet (i did buy their shoes) 42, 43, 45, 46½ - 47. The largest is my nephew's feet just similar to JKW's 46½ = 286 (mandopoint Korean shoe size). sorry previously 305 wrong conversion table. However it's guessing since i just can see by watching the drama kekeke :D :D :D so if i'm wrong please forgive me. T.T
